Article XIX, Section 2 of R-G Federal Credit Union bylaws requires its officers, directors, members of committees, and employees to hold in confidence all transactions of this credit union with its members and all information respecting their personal affairs.  Exceptions may be made only in connection with the making of loans, the collection of loans, and the guaranteeing of member share drafts.  Additionally, our bylaws authorize R-G Federal Credit Union to participate with credit reporting agencies to facilitate making of member loans and guaranteeing member share drafts.

The information R-G Federal Credit Union provides to credit reporting agencies is protected by federal law and its use is strictly governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  R-G Federal Credit Union does not collect or maintain information about its members that is not essential for prudent business purposes.

R-G Federal Credit Union does not sell or otherwise provide member names or other information to third parties for purposes inconsistent with the credit unions mission.
