Didn’t Start It? Don’t Share It.

Scammers can make a phone call, text, or email look like it came from R-G or another organization you trust. Before responding to an unexpected request, ask yourself one question:

Did I start this conversation?

If you did not initiate the contact, be cautious about sharing any information or following the sender’s instructions.

What Scammers May Ask For

Someone impersonating R-G may ask you to provide:

  • Your online banking username or password
  • Your debit card PIN
  • A one-time security code
  • Your full card or account number
  • Money through a transfer, payment app, or gift card

They may also create a sense of urgency by claiming your account has been compromised, or your money is at risk. That pressure is meant to get you to act before you have time to think.

Go Ahead. Hang Up on Us.

R-G will NEVER ask for your online banking password, PIN, or security code. If someone claiming to be from R-G requests this information, stop communicating with them. Then contact R-G using the phone number on our website; don't rely on a phone number or link in the original message.

Even if the call really was from us, we won’t mind! We would rather have you call back and know you are speaking with R-G.

If you have already shared information, contact us immediately so we can help protect your account.
